This article is bout tradition\u2019s influence on freedom in Iran.
\nThere are two different groups in Iran which have different opinions about freedom in Iran.
\nThe first one says that Iran has no freedom at all, the second one has a different opinion they say Iran has a fairly righteous government.
\nThe first group are supporters of full freedom in Iran such as \u201cFreedom of Speech\u201d, \u201cFreedom of belief\u201d, \u201cWomen\u2019s Freedom\u201d and \u201callowing women to stadiums\u201d.
\nThe second group are full supporters of leadership in Iran. They like the Islamic government and they believe Religion should be the base for everything.
\nOn the excuse of maintaining security for the Iranian people, they will eliminate anyone who expresses freedom of speech or someone who belongs to another faith.
\nIt is good to review the history briefly to see what has happened since the reign of Shah until now.
\nBefore Khomeini\u2019s Revolution people had freedom about belief, speech and the women could choose to wear Hijab or not but because of some problems of unemployment and the fact that 70% of the population had Islam as religion, the Iranian people started to fight against Shah and they brought Khomeini to the country as Leader.
\nSomething worth mentioning is the current situation of the Islamic republic where the pressure on people who believe in Freedom is becoming more day by day.
\nThe constitution and the Islamic penal code are based on Islamic traditions which mean if any one, Muslim or non-Muslim act against Islamic rules is doomed to be punished.
\nThe pressure has been added on the people step by step by increasing regulations regarding Hijab, second Freedom of speech, and then Freedom of belief etc.
\nWe live by rules that the government has decided for us, these rules can cause a better life or can turn the life to hell, and generally it may have lots of effects on our lives.
\nThe dictatorship will fall one day and that day the people who lived in misery and hardness will celebrate for their freedom even though many of them will not be alive to see the day.
\nAccording to article 19th of human rights law people can practice their customs and traditions and doing them have never been a problem unless if it harms the society.
\nTraditions have had such an effect on society that people cannot talk about their feelings since it could be against holy traditions, which they may be punished for them because these actions can be a threat for holy traditions.
\nThe Iran government is controlling the society and the people by religion, those people who are religious are fine with that but the other sides have it hard because their life is always in danger and it will always remain that way.
\nWhat I have written, might be offending to a religious person but to see the truth we should think beyond our beliefs.
\nWe are all wise enough to see these matters clearly and that should be enough for us to understand if it is good or not.
\nOne of the most important things in life is to respect people with other opinions. People can be far better than their religious beliefs, but we also need to understand that we cannot put people under pressure because of their beliefs.
\nThe women in Iran are under pressure, more so than men, they cannot choose to wear what they want and they have been banned to entering the stadiums for almost 30 years, even though they have been fighting for their rights, the government of Iran still thinks the women and men should not to be gathering in the same public places because it\u2019s against the law.
\nUnder almost 30 years more than 30% of the population has been under pressure, I think the religious people in Iran should read this article in order to understand that they have eliminated many people during history to keep their religion as the power of the government.
\nThis was a brief look of Iran\u2019s situation to show that the past traditions have lad lots of effects on people\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n
