YDO is writing to inform you that Yarsani people inhabiting Kurdistan in western part of Iran are living in jeopardy due to carelessness of Islamic regime of Iran about Covid-19 outbreak.
Yarsani people are Kurd folks living in Iranian part of Kurdistan in the west of Iran with the number of 2 million to 3 million individuals.
They are facing systematic discrimination in Iran because of their believes and ethnicity.
Discrimination may take many different forms, for instance being careless of Yarsani people lives during catastrophic natural disasters like earthquake in 2017 or flood in 2019 in Kermanshah province in which many Yarsani individuals lost their lives, many buildings and agricultural lands destroyed.
According to data, Islamic regime has done nothing as a relief or to compensate damages. The regime has totally forgotten Yarsani people.
The people in this part of Iran are now facing a large devastation and extinction because of viral outbreak of COVID-19 which spread by government intentionally or unintentionally.
Yarsani people living in western part of Iran are economically weak, suffering from those two natural disasters in 2017 and 2019 yet.
They cannot even afford medical equipment as well as manage the self -lockdown.
Hereby Yarsan Democratic Organization demands your indispensable attention on Yarsani folks inhabiting Iranian Kurdistan to keep them away from mass destruction and perish.
